Questions & answers.

Everything you need to know before getting started.

What are the "async learning hours"?

Between tutor sessions, your child works with Fynn (our AI tutor), interactive applets, video lessons, and personalized practice problems. These are real, structured learning hours — not just homework. Our platform tracks engagement, adapts difficulty in real time, and reports everything back to your child's tutor and to you.

How is billing structured?

All plans are billed monthly at the beginning of each billing cycle. We display weekly pricing because that's how families experience the service — but you'll see one monthly charge. Cancel anytime with 7 days notice before your next billing date.

What is MAP testing?

MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) is a nationally-normed adaptive assessment by NWEA, used by over 9.5 million students. It provides an objective, third-party snapshot of your child's growth. We administer it every two months so you can see the confidence and habits translating into measurable progress — not just our word for it.

Can I switch plans?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately (prorated for the current month). Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

What if my child doesn't use the async content?

That's exactly what Fynn is designed for. Our AI tutor uses your child's interests — whether it's baseball, Minecraft, or baking — to generate problems and activities that genuinely engage them. Most families see their child voluntarily practicing within the first week. If engagement is low, your child's tutor addresses it directly in their next session.

Is there a contract or commitment?

No long-term contracts. All plans are month-to-month. We believe the change you see in your child should keep you here, not a contract. That said, habits compound over time — families who stay 3+ months see the most profound shifts in confidence and daily engagement.

What if we're not happy?

Your first session is always free, so you can experience the service with zero risk. After that, if you're not satisfied within the first 30 days, we'll refund your first month in full.

Do you support homeschool families?

Absolutely. Many of our families homeschool. We align to whatever curriculum you're using — Beast Academy, Singapore Math, Saxon, AoPS, or your own custom approach. See our methodology page for details on how we enhance any curriculum.

Your first session
is free.

No credit card. No commitment. Just one session with a great tutor and a preview of how a real math habit gets built.
